Cinnamon Dolce Latte

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

If you’re a fan of Starbucks, chances are you’ve heard of the Cinnamon Dolce Latte. This popular coffee drink is a delicious combination of espresso, steamed milk, and a sweet cinnamon syrup. While it may seem like a complicated drink to make at home, with a few simple ingredients and some basic barista skills, you can easily recreate this Starbucks classic in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso
  • Steamed milk
  • Cinnamon syrup (recipe below)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Cinnamon Syrup:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions:

  1. First, make the cinnamon syrup. In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until it has thickened and reduced by about half. Remove the cinnamon sticks and let the syrup cool.

  2. While the cinnamon syrup is cooling, brew a shot of espresso using your preferred method. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use strongly brewed coffee instead.

  3. Once the cinnamon syrup has cooled, add 1-2 tablespoons (depending on how sweet you like your coffee) to the bottom of a mug. Pour the shot of espresso over the syrup and stir to combine.

  4. Next, add steamed milk to the mug, leaving enough room at the top for whipped cream, if desired. Stir well to combine.

  5. Finally, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.

The result is a rich and indulgent coffee drink that’s perfect for sipping on a chilly winter morning. The cinnamon syrup adds a warm and comforting flavor, while the whipped cream adds a touch of decadence. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your morning coffee routine, give this Cinnamon Dolce Latte a try!
