Three Coffee Roasts

Bold and Delicate: A Tale of Three Coffee Roasts

For coffee lovers, there’s nothing quite like a perfectly brewed cup to start your day off on the right foot. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying out three different coffee roasts from a specialty coffee roaster, and I was blown away by the variety and complexity of each one.

The first roast I tried was the Kenyan AA. This coffee had a bold, fruity flavor profile, with notes of blackcurrant and citrus. The aroma was just as bold, with a hint of spice. I found this coffee to be very complex and flavorful, with a bright acidity that was balanced by the sweetness of the fruit flavors. The Kenyan AA roast is definitely not for those who prefer a more mild coffee, but if you’re a fan of bold, fruity coffee blends, this one is definitely worth a try.

Next up was the Sumatra Mandheling roast. This coffee had a much earthier flavor profile, with notes of dark chocolate and roasted nuts. The aroma was deep and rich, with a smoky undertone. I found this coffee to be very comforting and satisfying, with a full body and a long, smooth finish. The Sumatra Mandheling roast would be perfect for anyone who enjoys a more robust and earthy coffee blend.

Finally, I sampled the Ethiopian Sidamo roast. This coffee had a delicate, floral flavor profile, with notes of blueberry and vanilla. The aroma was light and sweet, with a hint of fruitiness. I found this coffee to be very smooth and easy to drink, with a gentle acidity that was well-balanced by the sweetness of the fruit flavors. If you’re a fan of lighter, more delicate coffee blends, this one is definitely worth a try.

Each of these roasts had its own unique flavor profile and aroma, and I appreciated the high quality and attention to detail that went into each one. The Kenyan AA was bold and fruity, the Sumatra Mandheling was earthy and robust, and the Ethiopian Sidamo was delicate and floral. Whether you’re a fan of bold or delicate coffee blends, there’s something here for everyone.

Overall, I was blown away by the variety and complexity of these three coffee roasts. It’s amazing to see how different coffees can be based on the region they’re grown in, the way they’re roasted, and the flavor notes that the roaster chooses to highlight. If you’re a coffee lover like me, I highly recommend trying out these roasts – you won’t be disappointed!
